GUEST TEACHER MAY 2ND - JULIE SHARON-WAGSCHAL - online on Zoom

Julie Sharon-Wagschal is Dutch-American and lives in Amsterdam with her family. She is a counselor specializing in individual and couples counseling. 

Julie is a psychologist, Certified Gottman Therapist and Master Trainer, Gottman trainer for professionals and Bringing Baby Home educator. You can read more about the courses she offers at the Center for Relationship Learning.

Julie's therapeutic approach draws from a variety of methods, psychodynamic outlook,  EMDR, (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing: a therapy to  process trauma), Mindfulness (to learn to focus on the here and now) en  CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: a therapy in which you learn to  interpret problematic situations differently and handle them  differently). For couples counseling she uses the Gottman Relationship Therapy Method. All these therapies have been scientifically researched  in terms of their effectiveness. Julie sees the counseling process as an interactive, collaborative process.
